“WHO SINNED?” This Man Or His Parents?”
Protecting your Unborn Child in the Womb
It’s amazing what runs through our minds when we see someone born blind, crippled, deaf or in another similar circumstance in life.
Jesus’ disciples asked this question after they saw a man who was blind from birth. “Who sinned? This man or his parents” A man who by no fault of his, was subjected to living in a world he would never see and experience. If Jesus had not been there that day, he probably would have died blind. It seemed as though, the devil’s sharp claws had pierced him while he was an innocent foetus in the womb, due of course, to nothing other than the damaging effects of the sins his parents committed.
Is this possible? Can the devil take a railing accusation against you and get a judgement, or bare minimum the right to tamper with your life? Even worse, the life of your unborn child? While all this is true and possible if you are not a new creature in Christ, it is also important to understand the realm of the spirit. It is what we PERMIT here on earth that stays – I believe that with all of my heart.
I remember when Daniel was born. He wouldn’t use his right hand. It didn’t seem to hurt him, it was just numb. We were worried sick. Doctors told us due to the way he was pulled out, a nerve got damaged and became numb. Mr & Mrs Adelakun didn’t take it. Even though we had been told it may heal by itself in a matter of months, we went into prayer mode right away! We commanded his hand to receive healing and life given from Christ himself; the Light who lights up every man that comes into the world. We invoked the mercy and then favor of God. We held our hands and prayed over him consistently every night for about 2weeks. It worked! God showed us mercy and answered our prayers. Soon Daniel began to wave his hand boldly. What a delight and relief it was to see him finally use it.
While it is true that the sins of one generation can affect another, a child of God never gives up. “From the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent (in spirit) take it by force. They take what they want by force. Don’t get me wrong, The Lord said “I will show mercy to whomever I will” but the blood of the lamb is the final atonement. It’s the gateway to the mercy you seek. The power in that blood is so effective, it can create a layer of protection over a foetus in the womb, break the power of diseases and erase sin completely such that we are just-if-ied, spotless when we stand before the throne of Grace. When that happens, the devil’s fingers can not pierce the realm and layer of protection placed over those who have faith in the son of God’s blood. It is the awareness of this revelation, that evokes the mercy of God in dire situations where its desperately needed. You can then make necessary supplications with the confidence the blood of Jesus grants us.
